In honor of National Honey Month, join us for our 1st annual collaborative Apiopolis Fundraising Dinner at the Well Fed Community Garden.
Enjoy a 5-course supper lovingly prepared with hyper-local ingredients and City Sweet Raw Raleigh honey by esteemed chefs: Arthur Gordon of Irregardless, Drew Maykuth of Stanbury, Serge Falcoz-Vigne of Saint Jacques French Cuisine, Sean Fowler of Mandolin Restaurant and Escazu Chocolates.
Start off with a honey cocktail made with Honey Citrus Ginger Whiskey served by the distiller himself, Aaron Tschetter and enjoy thoughtfully provided wine by Eliza Olander of the Triangle Wine Experience and a special honey-brewed beer from Big Boss Brewing throughout the meal.
Event contributors include Garland Restaurant, Centro, Larry’s Beans, Inc., and more.
This dinner will also include a tour of The Well Fed Community Garden, live musical entertainment and more!
Apiopolis is a nonprofit urban bee sanctuary based in Raleigh, North Carolina whose mission is to improve the health and habitat of honeybees and native pollinators and to form dynamic collaborations that promote the well being of our entire community in a holistic, inclusive and joyful manner.
From building a better beehive to growing native plants for pollinator gardens to promoting locally resilient honeybee genetics, Apiopolis’ apicentric approach to restoring honeybees to health is immersed in science, activism and community engagement.
